Donation // Pay it FORWARD <3

Imagine this, you're a busy mum of two young kids, you run a business and you design and create a new and unique product that has never been made before... then someone else sees this product and copies (steals) it. All of a sudden the market is flooded with cheap rip-offs. This is the threat that small creative businesses have to navigate every single day but with a tiny donation YOU can help stop this happening to me in a HUGE way.

Product design protection is a complex legal subject, therefore I have engaged numerous lawyers around the world to ensure that my design for The Calm Mug is registered to me and protected from others profiting from my hard work. This is stressful and extremely expensive.. but ultimately worthwhile to protect my brand, my income and my family. 

So think of this as my version of a Go Fund Me or Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign with a little Pay it FORWARD twist because as much as I am having a hard time covering the costs of my legal bills, other people have it much worse than me. So please consider supporting my business with a donation and in turn, I will donate Calm Mugs to people who will benefit from having one of these beautiful hand crafted mugs with a spinning feature to provide an outlet for fidgeting, helping to relieve stress and anxiety while increasing focus and attention.

Every dollar counts, and is greatly appreciated. My pledge is for every $200 I raise through this donation page I will donate 1 large Calm Mug valued at AU $65 to Catherine House to be included in their Moving On Packs which are household item packs to support women as they transition into their new homes after experiencing homelessness. My hope is that a Calm Mug of their own will bring joy and moments of reduced stress for someone in this situation. 

I am hoping to raise donations to put toward my current estimate of AU $8000 in legal bills to confirm my initial product design protection protocols. 

I promise to be transparent about the total of donations that I receive and the number of Calm Mugs donated to charity.
